How it works
What has to be instant runs on your PC. What needs judgement goes to the engineer in the cloud. You hear one engineer either way.
A small Windows app that reads the game's telemetry while you drive.
English or Brazilian Portuguese, on the radio and in the app. The engineer comes on with a radio check.
Calls arrive when they matter, and stay away when they don't.
On your PC, instant
Under 100 ms. No internet needed.
In the cloud, smart
Every number comes from your telemetry and is checked before it's spoken.
Moments of a race
Green, green, green!
Lights out, right on the call.
Three wide, you're in the middle.
The spotter has your mirrors.
Contact! We have damage, check the car.
Read from the car's damage data.
Pit lane! Limiter, limiter!
Forgot the limiter? Not for long.
Checkered flag! Good job, bring it home.
Then an honest debrief.
On the radio
Not chatter: the gap to the car behind, when to box, who is coming through. Lines from our own races and the app's calls, as you'd hear them.

Talk back
New · beta
Tap a button on your wheel and ask in your own words. Gaps, position, time left, last lap and fuel come back in about a second; anything else takes two or three. Every answer comes from your live race and is checked like any other line.
Settings → Audio: turn push-to-talk on and press the button you want.
Languages
Each language is written the way an engineer from there talks, not translated line by line. The app itself speaks Portuguese too, not just the radio.
Coming next
On the roadmap
Tell the engineer what the car does. It turns "it understeers" into a corner and a phase, keeps each change against your lap times, and suggests the next one.
Coming soon
The same spotter and engineer on iRacing. It comes to the same app and the same account.
FAQ
No. Every line goes through one queue on your PC: urgent spotter calls first, everything else waits for a straight and is dropped if it's no longer true. It never repeats itself, and after a big hit it checks on you once.
The spotter, flags, contact and pit limiter calls run on your PC and work offline. The engineer (strategy, rivals, the debrief) needs a connection.
No. The engineer only gets numbers from your telemetry, and every line is checked against them before it's spoken. If something stops being true before there's a moment to say it, it isn't said. And once it tells you to box, it won't say stay out a few seconds later unless something new happened.
Yes, in beta. Turn on push-to-talk in Settings → Audio, pick a button on your wheel, tap it and ask. Gaps, position, time left, last lap and fuel come back in about a second; anything else goes to the AI and takes two or three. "Say again" and "quiet" work too.
In your account. Every race is saved with its result, laps, driving charts and what the engineer said, on any PC you sign in to.
Le Mans Ultimate on Windows today. iRacing is next.
RaceBuddy will be a paid subscription, because the AI engineer costs money to run. Pricing isn't set yet. Every account gets trial credits for about 10 races a month.
For calls that must be instant, it works the same way: local rules and pre-recorded voice. On top of that you get an engineer who understands the race, knows your rivals by name, and sounds like a person.
